Experience

Our relevant experience includes acting on the following matters.

  • Global Rebranding: We have acted for an international insurance company in its re-branding. This involved strategic advice in transitioning to the new brand, establishing an IP holding company and assignment and cross licensing documentation, third party licence agreements for use of the new brand and extensive trade mark registrations to secure rebranding for the product portfolio. We also conducted seminars with senior in-house personnel about the transition to the new brand and the importance of vigilance and control of the trade marks.
  • Credit Risk Management: We have advised a leading provider of credit risk management services on the protection of the information in its databases, including an analysis of copyright that may subsist and how best to maximise its protection as a work of copyright.
  • International Advertising Agency: We provide advertising copy clearance advice to this agency on major advertising campaigns.
