HWL Ebsworth Lawyers has announced the appointment of Rebecca Mohr as a partner in its Commercial practice group in Sydney.

Most commercial agreements contain clauses which allow a contract to come to an end for cause (i.e. a material breach) or without cause, provided a specified period of notice is given (termination for convenience). Terminating a contract which contains an express termination clause, if exercised carefully, will normally present little risk.
