Profile
Tony has a wide range of experience in commercial and corporations matters, and is a Partner within our Retail, Franchising and Licensing group. Tony is recognised as one of Australia's leading franchise lawyers. He practices in respect of all aspects of structuring, restructuring, sale, purchase and establishment of domestic and international franchise systems.
He acts for clients in many industries such as manufacturing, food, general retail and pharmacy areas.
For over twenty three years Tony has worked in private practice. In addition he has spent nearly five years as Corporate Manager and Legal Counsel for a national franchise retail chain with over 100 stores.
Tony’s areas of legal expertise cover:
- Acquisitions, mergers, and sales of businesses and corporations
- Distribution and channel strategies
- Business structuring, including shareholding joint venture and partnership matters
- Trade practices and competition law
- Insolvency, retail and pharmacy advice

Tony has recently been recognised by the International Bar Association in the International Who’s Who Franchise Lawyers 2009 publication as one of only six Australian Lawyers specialising in Franchising.
