Peter Bramwell

Peter is a Partner with over 30 years experience in commercial law and has advised extensively in the energy and resources sector. Through the course of his work in this field, Peter has developed a specific interest in the petroleum (oil and gas) industry, and has acted for a number of international energy companies in relation to their operations in Australia.

He can offer clients commercial advice extending across areas such as business structures, acquisition/divestment of businesses, share issues and placements, due diligence, foreign investment and other regulatory and compliance issues in the corporate and energy and resources sectors.

Peter can also provide expert assistance to companies regarding negotiation and drafting of a wide range of commercial contracts, (such as, sale and purchase agreements, joint venture/farm-in and related agreements in the energy and resources sector, supply and procurement contracts, service agreements).  He also has extensive experience in advising on and drafting agreements relating to relationships between major corporations and NGO’s regarding their activities in the areas of corporate and social responsibility.
