He specialises in banking and finance and acts for a number of financial institutions and private mezzanine lenders.

His experience includes documenting and advising on a range of debt finance transactions including property development and investment finance, construction and project financing, and equipment finance.

He also has experience in securities enforcement and work-outs, including mortgagee and receivership sales and advising receivers and financial institutions regarding insolvency proceedings.

In addition to acting for financial institutions, Mark also regularly acts for several listed national developers in respect of their security requirements for staged development projects.

Particular experience includes:

• Acting for a participant lender in a $310 million syndicated finance facility to a listed property trust in respect of a  national commercial property portfolio.
• Acting for a mezzanine financier in the development of staged $100 million retirement community on the Gold Coast.
• Acting for a senior lender in the development of the Townsville Breakwater Marina and Cruise Ship Terminal.
• Acting for a participant lender in the $900 million senior debt financing of a national portfolio of licensed hotels.
