Steven Henderson is a Partner of HWL Ebsworth who has extensive experience in the property industry. He provides our national clients with technical expertise tailored to their requirements in investment, development, financing, leasing and sales involving commercial, industrial and retail property, and the management of complex real estate transactions.
Steven’s industry experience covers the sale and purchase of green acre, residential and commercial high rise development sites, hotels and shopping centres, project management, joint venture and development agreements, the financing of development sites and the leasing of commercial offices and shopping centres.
Examples of projects in which Steven has been engaged include:
- The preparation of joint venture agreements for the development of office towers at 175 Eagle Street, 480 Queen Street and 545 Queen Street, all in the Brisbane CBD.
- The site purchase, development and sales of apartments in the 69 level Aurora Tower in Queen Street, Brisbane.
- Purchases of Suncorp Metway Plaza and Theatre at Turbot Street, Red Cross building at 480 Queen Street, Millhouse IAG building at 545 Queen Street, Emirates House at 167 Eagle Street and King George Tower at 171 Adelaide Street and the sale of the McDonnell and East site at George Street – all in the Brisbane CBD.
- The development of a proposed 70 level mixed-use building at 480 Queen Street and a proposed 19 level office building at 333 Ann Street - both in the Brisbane CBD.
- The redevelopment of 545 Queen Street, Brisbane from 6,237 m2 to 13,422 m2 of commercial office space.
- Purchase, revelopment, leasing and sale of 19th Avenue Shopping Centre and Helensvale Plaza Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast.
- Purchase and sale of Eden’s Crossing development site at Bellbird Park, Queensland.
