Paul has more than 10 years experience in all facets of front end and back end building and construction matters and is committed to making projects work for all participants.
His front end construction expertise includes project development, contract negotiations, tender preparation and review together with project management advice. Paul has advised joint ventures, alliance participants and consortia in respect to preferred delivery methods for commercial building, civil and infrastructure projects including BOOT type arrangements.
Paul has been involved in resolving significant construction disputes in all court jurisdictions and through arbitration and expert determination. His expertise extends to administrative reviews, claims under the security of payment legislation in all states, claims in respect to subcontractor's charges and insolvency issues.
Paul also provides crisis management advice to employers following serious incidents including division of workplace health and safety, union, family and media liaison, defence of prosecutions including attendance at interviews with government inspectors, and advocacy at hearings of offences.
A close relationship with government and industry allows Paul to contribute to, and be involved in, changes of policy affecting the industry.
