David Jenkins is a Partner of HWL Ebsworth and a senior member of our National Litigation Practice. He has extensive experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution on matters ranging from minor claims to commercial disputes involving tens of millions of dollars. He has high-end expertise in disputes involving the property and banking and finance sectors, and has represented some of Australia’s leading brand franchisors and manufacturers.

David provides technical expertise in Trade Practices Law compliance, risk management and litigation – in particular, formulating and co-ordinating responses to ACCC queries and investigations – disputes under the Corporations Act, valuation negligence claims, property contract disputes, franchisor litigation, and debt recovery and securities enforcement.

Projects on which David has been engaged include:

• Valuation negligence litigation involving a major CBD shopping centre
• Significant trademark dispute resolution between two national pizza franchises
• Debt recovery and securities enforcement for a large number of major financial institutions
• Resolution of a major software contract dispute for bank clients.
